Workshop: Intro to Romance Writing

Romance is a billion-dollar industry, and the romance genre outsells all other literary genres combined. With popular subgenres like romantic comedy, romantasy, contemporary romance, historical romance, and paranormal romance, there is so much room for diversity of stories and voices in romance.
In this workshop, Farah Heron will define the romance genre, discuss tropes, themes and genre requirements, cover paths to publication, and finally give you some tools to help craft a page turning, swoony romance novel.
About the facilitator: Farah Heron is a critically acclaimed author of contemporary romances and romantic comedies.
